New Roof with Skylight, Calgary AB

A leaky roof is no fun. We need a quick like lightening rescue.  What’s that in the sky?  A flash of Lightening? Nope it’s the Done Right Team with metal flashing ready to redo this old house The homeowner had an old interlocking shingles.  He chose to go with a brand new IKO Cambridge Weather wood Shingle.   As you can tell by the picture the old roof needed more than just replacing the shingles.   The client has a sky light.  We always re-flash all our skylights.  It’s super important to replace all flashings around skylights.  As well as the flashing around your chimneys.   #1 spots for leaking on a roof is due to improper flashing.  We also added vents to this home to make have a long lasting life.  Check out the great before and after photo!!
